Costs: Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for our SMS alerts, but your mobile carrier may charge for text messages received.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Specifically:
- Active Subscriptions: We retain your mobile phone number and monitoring preferences for as long as you maintain an active subscription to our SMS alert service
- After Opt-Out: We retain your phone number and opt-out status for three years after you unsubscribe to honor your opt-out preference and comply with telecommunications regulations
- Monitoring Data: Temperature and power status data are retained for one year for service improvement and troubleshooting purposes
- Communication Records: SMS delivery logs are retained for one year for compliance and quality assurance purposes
